The Manchester Centre for Public History and Heritage and the Pankhurst Trust are delighted to welcome Dr Kate Lemay to talk about the recent exhibition 'Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence'.

Dr Lemay is an historian and curator at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C, and a visiting research fellow at the Manchester Centre for Public History and Heritage.

'Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence' was opened at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington in spring 2019 by none other than Hillary Clinton. Come along to the Pankhurst Centre to hear all about the exhibition from one of its curators. No need to book, just show up.
