Manchester Women’s Aid Renew service, offering support for women supported by SARC

We are proud to be working with Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), and Manchester Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) to provide additional support for women who have experienced sexual assault in Manchester.

Who is the Renew service for?

As Renew service offers support for women supported by SARC, it is specifically for women who are currently accessing or waiting to access support from Manchester SARC. They are based at Saint Mary's Hospital, and you can find out more about them here. Renew service is for women aged 18+. 

What does the Renew service offer?

  • Practical and emotional support

  • Women only spaces

  • Women only drop-in

  • Women only groups

  • Women’s voices

  • Women only listening

The group work on offer for Renew clients, Living Life to The Full, is a wellbeing focused course. The programme has been designed to help you develop skills to manage your mood, learn positive coping mechanisms, understand and manage your thoughts and feelings, and learn to address any low self-esteem issues.
